Christmas Farm
by Mary Ray
Illustrations by Barry Root

Author Mary Ray uses the story of Wilma, a woman with a yen to garden, and her next-door neighbor, five-year-old Parker, to weave this story about the lives of Christmas trees. The narrative follows Wilma and Parker’s yearly care of the trees as they plant, nurture, and count their numbers. Includes an author's note about the history and cultivation of Christmas trees.
