Home for Christmas

by Jan Brett

What can I say? Jan Bret is one talented writer and illustrator. She never disappoints. Her drawings are so detailed, one can read the story over and over again and discover new images most every time.

This story is about a bad little troll named Rollo. Well, maybe he isn't so bad... He's simply got a boundless supply of energy that needs some challenging. Scolded once again for not doing his chores, he runs away from home. At each stop he thinks he's found the ideal living situation with the animals. Eventually... Surely you know the rest.

With a family that cooks and decorates like his does, given the chance I might run away to his home.
