The Three Snow Bears

by Jan Brett

The publisher calls this one of Brett’s most beautiful picture books, and I have to agree. Jan Brett does a fantastic job of researching her subjects. For The Three Snow Bears, she went to the far North to study the Inuit people and their environment. An Inuit girl is this story’s Goldilocks. The three bears are polar bears dressed in native attire. As always, Brett’s borders are sprinkled with appealing animals in their natural settings.
